It's a bittersweet feeling to welcome the end of summer. While I could use more time to swim and enjoy the sun, I also get that little excited feeling beginning to bubble up in my chest because the end of summer signals JACKET SEASON!

I think about Jacket Season year-round. They are my favorite article of clothing because they are such a staple: unlike a Tee, a favorite jacket can make an appearance every single day for the entire season; they can transform any outfit; and a good jacket can last for years and years and sometimes even generations. It's the perfect garment for representing what it means to dress sustainably. 

We think your fall jacket should make a statement, and nothing does that better than a one-of-a-kind Adeline Biker Jacket made from a vintage quilt. I have been slowly and methodically collecting quilts that are perfect for these jackets all year: They're soft, unique, thin enough to create a beautiful drape, and sturdy enough to deliver the kind of structure you look for in a good Biker Jacket. And I'm so excited to share them with you finally. 

I'm so in love with this collection of quilts that I want to make sure each person can be matched with that special quilt that is calling to them, so to make that a little more accessible, we've decided to Launch these Jackets as a "Choose Your Quilt, Choose Your Size" style shopping experience. 

Here's How Ordering will work: 

• We will list 10 Quilts on the website on Saturday, August 26th at 12 pm Noon est.
  
• Each Quilt listed will have photos and a product description that tells you a little bit about the quilt and the available Jacket size range for that particular quilt (Unfortunately, a few of the quilts are smaller than others and can therefore only accommodate smaller sized jackets) It's a good idea to measure yourself and take a look at our Women's Size Guide to make sure the quilt you want falls within your size range. 
• Purchase the quilt you'd like to have made into an Adeline Biker Jacket, and we will e-mail you within 24 hours to ask you about sizing and measurements.
